Now, my thoughts are it's useless in that venting system, for it's release heat method. It's designed to release heat back off the motor. That vent is place up near the front the motor and is not going to release really anything while driving. At an idle it may dissipate some radiator heat, but the purpose is all but lost by it type of venting and placement. Now if it where set in the back of the hood, any air making it's way under the hood can escape threw the rear while the car is in motion. That Stillen vented center panel direct air straight down in front of the AC compressor to hit on coming air and add volume to the cooling of the AC compressor and radiator and over all volume to the Pop chargers intake. Look at other cars that come with factory vented hood and there placement. Hot air needs to vent the rear of the hood while cooler air is induced threw the front, common sense. Plus if that where to cool anything, looks like a drain vent for rain if you ask me. Just looking for the purpose here I guess :)
